Has it been over a week since we all met at Caprice’s home?  Time flies when you’re working your businesses doesn’t it?  I just wanted to thank you all again for being at her Heart Link Event because I was able to meet other like-minded women all with the same goal in their businesses, to network and promote each other!  I have to say I have been checking out many other networking groups not only for my personal business connections but to share with my team of 80 reps across the USA. 

There were three things that stood out, at this past meeting, above all the rest:

1. The Heart Link Network brings in top notch business women who run very productive, effective and efficient meetings.
2. The Heart Link Network offers you the opportunity to attend other Heart Link meetings in other cities and because there are so many groups across the USA, my team members can be hooked into the same Networking group as I am.
3. The Heart Link Network Area Coordinators are gracious and absolutely amazing and very talented women to run their business and these meetings for all of us to attend monthly.

I cannot say enough about this Heart Link Networking group.  I look forward to seeing you at Caprice’s house again this month (Great job Caprice, you are a natural born leader my friend!) and hope to see many of you at the other Area Coordinator’s Heart Link groups as well...

As I was driving in to work today…thankful to be employed ...I wondered what makes The Heart Link Network so special... and realized it's the beauty of it. Beauty means: the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction. Thank you ladies for making my day with you BEAUTIFUL!

Tonight I went to a Heart Link Women's Networking meeting. Heart Link was founded by a women named Dawn Billings. She discovered women network differently than men, so she wanted to create a networking meeting where women could get together, have dinner and meet each other, share about themselves, really get to know each other and what our goods and services are. I absolutely LOVE The Heart Link Women's Networking meetings. There are about 4 different networking events in my area, and I try to go to almost all of them. The women who attend these are amazing and it's really neat to see how people connect and help each other out. My bathroom, bedroom, wardrobe, and pantry are now stocked full of products from various direct sales companies! But truth be told, I admire, adore and trust the women selling them, they give me great customer service, and the products are the best! When you host a Heart Link Women's Networking meeting, you open up your home to about 20 women and provide dinner. It's a lot of work and I'm so grateful to the women that host my monthly meetings. My favor for today was that I went over early and helped our hostess set up. Again, wasn't much, but it gave me a chance to chat, meet her family and connect with her on a different level. Thank you Robin! And thank you Sally, Grace and Mindy, my other fantastic hostesses! Dear Heart Link Ladies, I want to wish you all A Wonderful Holiday Season and to say Thank- You so much for your support this year. This has been a really tough year for everyone and as you know for those of us who have to keep our doors open it has been especially difficult. So I wanted to just take a moment and say thank you, if not for all of you, coming in and also spreading the word, I would not be here. I am so deeply humbled and grateful to all of you. I look forward to a great 2010 for all of us in our business endeavors and the continued growth of wonderful women networking together. My Heartfelt Thanks!

I really enjoyed attending the Heart Link Women's Networking gathering on Monday evening. It was hosted by Laura Wells. She is a jewel! The atmosphere was so very warm and welcoming and though it was my first time attending, I felt like I fit in almost immediately. I appreciated the professionalism and it wasn’t “stuffy” like so many networking groups I’ve attended in the past. I’m already registered for the next meeting and can’t wait to get there! Thank you Laura for your warm spirit and also Andrea for opening up your home and allowing all of us to connect.

Deloria Mondesir shares her generous spirit with each and every guest. She has the heart of a networker since she understands that this is business and social contact. Her home is so welcoming, beautifully decorated to reflect her special talents. It is a relaxed atmosphere with lots of easy laughter and conversation. Deloria moves through the networking evening making sure to cover all the bases with a gentle grasp. She is a pleasure to know and a pleasure to do business with! Hi Laura, Per our conversation yesterday, I'm emailing to tell you that at my very first meeting, for the 90049 zip code in Los Angeles, 3 women at the meeting connected and immediately received business. Most amazing, the lady who offered to let me use her home, (I don't have a permanent location to host from so we're a roving event), was one of the people who received work as a result of participating in Heart Link Women's Network. I think that is so cool! This really works, and I'm thrilled to have brought The Heart Link Women's Network to my area. I've been attending meetings that are 20 to 25 miles from my home for the past 6 months, and realized there was a need here that wasn't being met. As a result of connecting with women from these other meetings, several made the trip to be at my first meeting. We were filled to capacity and it was an amazing event!

First of all, thank you for creating and maintaining The Heart Link Network. I love the concept of relational marketing and I appreciate a networking opportunity that makes it easy to connect with other women. Thank you.

I attended my first HLN meeting two months ago. Since then I’ve been to three meetings from one end of King County to the other.

Attending that first HLN meeting in January at Nancy Chapin’s home has been literally life-changing. At this meeting I made a connection with a professional organizer, Linda Deppa. I decided to hire Linda to help me set-up my home office. Linda encouraged me to enter an essay contest to have two rooms in my home organized. I was selected! I am one of two women in the Seattle area chosen to receive the services of six professional organizers for six hours a day for three days!!! The big weekend is happening just one week from now. Wow! Yikes!

Dear Dawn, You are wonderful. The personal stories you shared and your commitment to helping women be all they can be is inspiring.

I came home with such a feeling of peace last night after meeting you and being a part of this special group of women who care so much about others and making a difference...each of us doing so in our own unique way. I went to sleep filled with joy.

I enjoy going to The Heart Link Women's Networking Meeting because you never know who you might meet. For instance at the last meeting I found a housekeeper for my mother in law, a teacher that tutors for my friend´s little boy who is struggling in school, and I got a show booking. Very productive and very fun evening. (Jan, 2009)

Lately I have been attending all different kinds of networking groups, BNI´s (Business Networking International), Chamber of Commerce, CRAVE Party, launch parties, blogging and whew, I am exhausted! Some of the events were really fabulous, others were not so fabulous, I think you can guess which ones, Duh! Dear Mary, I´ve been networking for 30 years and established two networks in San Francisco during the 80´s. I want to say I felt a lot of genuineness at your Heartlink Network. When I called people after the meeting to connect with them I felt truly received and warmly welcomed. We are already making business happen. Thank you for taking the initiative for gathering all these fantastic, outgoing, talented, eager young women.

I loved the concept of Heart Link (women helping women) when I first heard about it and attended an event to find out more. I was definitely not disappointed!

Most of us were strangers at the beginning of the evening but by the end I felt like I had a whole new group of 'girlfriends'. Promoting each other and our businesses is such a natural for women because we love to share... it is in our DNA!

I look forward to Heart Link coming to Canada and being the first Area Coordinator in British Columbia!

Women´s Networking Works!

I enjoyed my first The Heart Link Women's Meeting this month in Coppell, TX. The ladies were easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable and almost like we were sisters and had common interests. I was most impressed with the direction that Dawn Billings is taking.
The meeting was a little different than most networking groups and that’s what got me excited and was so grateful that I was invited. I look forward to many more meetings and meeting new people.

I feel every woman should embrace the concept of The Heart Link Women's Network. No matter what profession, race, culture, social level, geographical location, talent, at home or in business; The Heart Link Women's Networking is a space of our very own. Not only was I impressed by the quality of the meeting, but of the women and the level of commitment to their businesses and to each other. Even when there is a focus on a characteristic of a woman that I am not (for instance mothers), I felt included and able to contribute. My spiritual energy level was heightened and I was motivated and supported towards my success. I have shared my experience with so many women that I’m looking into starting my own HLN meeting in my area.

I had been thinking of starting something like the HeartLink network here in Sherman. It wasn"t something I wanted to do, just something I saw a need for. I was so delighted to discover HeartLink! From just the first meeting I had people approaching me about my business and even though we´ve only had 3 meetings so far, I´ve already got new customers. If I ever miss a meeting, call the hospital!

I have been very impressed with the Heart Link Women's Networking concept, the professionalism, and ability to bring multi-talented women together to develop friendships in an encouraging atmosphere.

As a Health Insurance Agent, I personally want to broaden my circle of female business contacts, find out what is important to each person, learn more about their business, and discover how we can benefit each other. Heart Link is a must for any business woman who strives to make a difference!

Being new to town and having a new career, I needed a way to not only meet people on a personal level but on a professional level as well. The Heart Link Women's Network gave me just that opportunity. I have started building friendships as well as developing business relationships. Heart Link opens a door for women to meet, share ideas, stories, and build future relationships in a comfortable stress free environment. Thank you to Sherry and Collett for helping me feel like Stillwater is my home now.

It has been great, having that "girls night out". Not only have I gotten to get out of the house by myself, I have gotten to meet some really great ladies. The Heart Link Women's Network has introduced me to a new group of people away from my everyday life and job.
I am really glad that there are groups like this in the community, and I look forward to meeting new people and making new friends. I love that this is helping my business grow in new directions. Thanks so much!

The Heart Link Women's Network provides a fantastic alternative to all those stressful networking groups. I thoroughly enjoyed the first meeting I attended. The format allowed me to really learn something about the women who were there and the businesses they represented. In fact, I made referrals to two of the businesses that same week. I will definitely recommend The Heart Link Women's Networking to the small business owners and entrepreneurs that I coach and I will continue to attend as well.
