Women Networking Community Location Page
- What happens at a Heart Link Women’s Networking event?
-
The Heart Link Women’s Networking meeting begins with a light meal and socializing. After the meal, the professional networking begins. Participants get 3 minutes to showcase themselves and their businesses, and distribute literature. After the formal networking many women make appointments to get together to talk business, and share more deeply.
- Should I attend alone or with a friend?
-
Come linked. Bring your appetite, enthusiasm, business cards, brochures or marketing materials, but most of all, bring a friend. You are going to have the time of your life meeting extraordinary women. You are going to want to share this great experience with someone.
- How do I make a reservation?
-
You can email, call or simply pop a check in the mail to me, your Heart Link Women Networking Area Coordinator (with your business card if you want, or just a note introducing yourself and what line of business you represent). Please remember, most events are industry exclusive, which means only one person may represent each industry, so space fills up quickly! Your payment IS your reservation.
- Is there a high upfront membership fee for me to be able to attend Heart Link Women Networking events?
-
No. It only costs $20 to attend, with NO upfront membership requirements, and if you bring a new guest each time, it only costs each of you $15. Each Heart Link Women’s Networking Area Coordinator gives so much when she accepts to lead in your community. For your $20 fee, you receive a valuable and unique opportunity to showcase your business in an intimate and comfortable setting for a full 3 minutes where women actually care and listen.
- What is the appropriate attire for the event and what type of food do you serve?
-
Many women come to the event from work so attire varies from business casual to comfortable. You will have your own bottle of water; a light meal is served - oftentimes a salad with everything on the side, and dessert.
- Monthly Community Appreciation -
-
Each month The Heart Link Women’s Network chooses women of various professions and groups to appreciate from the community. For example: Teachers, Nurses, New Moms, Non-Profit employees, Administrative Assistants, Dental professionals, etc. Be sure to check this page each month to see who is being honored and "come linked" with one of these amazing women so they can be loved and appreciated for all they do in the community.

Welcome to The Heart Link Network®
- My name:
- Lauren A. Delaney
- My Occupation:
- I have two full time careers. I have been a real estate broker for 24 years, and I am also in direct sales with Wildtree All Natural Cooking Products, a home party company. I am currently the only Director level rep in Massachusetts. Wildtree is a line of 100% ALL NATURAL cooking products (everyday groceries such as salad dressings, spices, Grapeseed oils for cooking, mixes, sauces, crockpot stews, and more!) Created by a Pharmacist (a working mom) whose kids had dietary restrictions and food allergies, Wildtree became her everyday meal solution! Focused on QUICK, EASY, and HEALTHY (yes, it is possible to have it all!) With Wildtree you are assured there are no additives, preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, MSG, food dyes, or trans fats. The line has low (or no) salt and sugar and is locally made and 100% NUT FREE! Our home tastings give you fabulous ideas for quick and easy meals, and healthy eating tips. I also show you how to "perimiter shop" (saving money and improving quality) and give you hints to de-mystify food labels. I also host monthly Freezer Meal Workshops at my home -- make 10 meals for a family of 4 to put in your freezer for quick, easy, natural meals anytime. Because Heart Link is industry exclusive, (and we are the first one in our area), please contact me to see if your category is still open for a particular meeting before submitting a payment. I look forward to meeting you and growing our businesses together!
- My Background: (education and business)
- Fortunately I was able to attend college via academic scholarship or it would not have been an option for me. I was an English Major, who also became a Paralegal. Along the way, I spent 6 years in banking, and was Vice President of lending with a concentration in New Business Development and Regulatory Compliance. After a bank merger, I redirected my energies into helping a friend start a mortgage company while I simultaneously began doing real estate sales. It was only meant to be temporary, but that was 24 years ago! I have earned many professional designations within the field including those held by less than 4% of agents & brokers nationwide, and several times my husband and I were named to our franchise's Dream Team signifying the top 20 agents in New England for sales production. Approximately 10 years ago, I entered the Direct Sales field as a low stress change of pace/outlet and for a product discount, and ended up building a second career. At my current company I have been part of the Advisory Board for several straight years, do training for events (including being the demonstrating rep on the company's last training video), have been a catalog gal at least twice, earned several incentive trips, and support a fabulous and inspiring nationwide team of 150+ from MA to CA. I believe in Networking, having previously been involved in BNI as a President, Vice President, Membership Chair, and recipient of the coveted "Gold Badge".
- Most inspiring books:
- Too many to list as I am an avid reader, however my most recent inspiring stories were Deep Drive by RedSox player Mike Lowell; Born to Play by Dustin Pedroia, and my current read is The Wellness Revolution.
- Most inspiring person:
- That would be my late dad who made me want to be the best that I could be...and still does!
- Most inspiring quote:
- It's a tie..... "If you don't know where you're going, how will you know when you've arrived?" ....and.... "Don't follow where the path may lead. Instead go where there is no path, and leave a trail." (Walt Whitman)
- Most inspiring movies:
- Cool Runnings (I cry every time!), Erin Brokovich, Apollo 13, the Bucket List, Pretty Woman, Dr Quinn-Medicine Woman, the Bee Movie
- My secret for success:
- I was always taught "If you commit to do something, do the absolute best that you can." I refuse to see failure as an option. "You can find an excuse, or you can find a way!"
